格子量子色力学によるクォーク・グルーオン自由度からの非摂動論的現象の研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

強い相互作用の基礎理論である量子色力学(QCD)低エネルギー領域に生じる非摂動的な現象であるカラーの閉じ込め を解析した。第一原理計算である格子QCDによる大規模数値計算を用いて、非摂動的な現象を多角的に研究した。具体的には次の3項目に取り組んだ。
まず、二次元におけるHiggs模型における格子シミュレーションの研究を行った。その結果、粒子・反粒子間ポテンシャルが線形の領域(閉じ込め相)とそうでない領域(Higgs相)があることを数値的に示した。さらに、本研究ではランダウ・ゲージでのゲージ場の伝播関数の振る舞いをしらべ、“カラーの閉じ込め”についてGribov問題の観点から一定の理解が得られた。この研究は査読付きProceeding論文として1編、Journal of High Energy Physicsにて原著論文として1編発表され、日本物理学会や国際会議においても口頭発表した。
次に、前年度構築した“最大可換ゲージにおけるGribov-Zwanziger作用”の数値的検証として二次元格子シミュレーションを用いて最大可換ゲージにおけるグルーオン伝播関数を研究した。その結果、対角のグルーオン伝播関数は赤外領域でKallen-Lehmann表示の破れを示すのに対し、非対角のグルーオン伝播関数ではその破れがみえず、有質量ベクトル場から期待される振る舞いを示した。これらの振る舞いはGribov-Zwanziger作用から期待される振る舞いと一致し、最大可換ゲージにおけるGribov領域に対し、一定の理解が得られた。この研究は現在査読中である。
