π共役系アニオン応答素子を基盤としたイオン駆動型超分子ナノ材料の機能創発

Research Abstract

π電子系アニオンレセプターおよびそのアニオン会合体を基盤とした集合体を創製し、電荷輸送特性やキラル光学特性の発現に成功した。たとえば、湾曲型π共役系縮環型アニオンレセプターは、湾曲π平面間での選択的な相互作用を基軸とした次元制御型組織体(液晶、超分子ゲルなど)や、平面状カチオンとのイオンペア形成や、電荷移動度の増大(0.9×10 <-5>5cm 2/V・s)を見いだした(Chem. Asian J. 2013)。一方、π共役系スペーサーで架橋したレセプターダイマーは、アニオン会合によりらせん構造形成が可能である。とくに点不斉を有するキラルアニオンとの会合により、π電子系らせんキラリティー(巻き方向)制御や、キラル光学特性(円偏光発光)の発現に成功した(Org. Lett. 2013)。また、レセプター側鎖に点不斉を導入することでレセプター集合体へのキラリティー誘起に成功し、平面状カチオン塩とのイオンペア形成によりコットン効果が反転し、キラル構造の制御に成功した(Chem. Eur. J. 2013)。
対イオン会合体とは対照的に、電荷を有するπ電子系イオンの合成、および集合体形成、積層構造の制御を行った。たとえば、積層可能なπ電子系カチオンであるビスベンゾジチオリウムカチオンのメゾ位への芳香環導入により、カチオン性π平面の積層構造を基盤とした組織体(液晶、超分子ゲルなど)形成に成功した。また、電子求引性基を導入したシクロペンタジエニルアニオンは取り扱いが容易であり、6π電子系カチオンやアンモニウムカチオンとのイオンペア形成、および中間相の発現に成功し、温度により集合化形態を制御できることが示唆された(論文投稿準備中)。
