Research Abstract

本研究班は、触媒分子反応工学における触媒化学の役割を明らかにし、グリーン触媒プロセスの構築を目指した触媒反応場設計を行うことを目的とする。本年度の検討より以下の成果が得られた。
服部:Ag/Al2O3触媒上でのNO選択還元反応における水素共存反応場効果がAgカチオンクラスター形成によることを明らかにし、自動車燃料等の利用によっても同様の反応場効果が得られることを明らかにした。荒井:メタノール水蒸気改質に対し、高い活性および選択性を示す高分散Pd-Zn合金触媒およびCu系触媒の調製条件を明らかにし、酸素共存下では水素生成速度が10倍に向上することを明らかにした。片田:水蒸気存在下で優れた性能を示すPd/WO3/ZrO2触媒を論理先導的に設計し、また分子を鋳型とするシリカの化学蒸着(CVD)法により分子の形の細孔を残したシリカ層で固体酸触媒活性点の周囲を覆うことに成功した。林:亜硝酸性窒素の高効率分解触媒の構造体化を目的として各種の骨格材について検討を行い、アルミナ骨格にPd/C触媒が均質に塗布できること、高強度のポリウレタンが骨格材として優れていることを見いだした。西山:カルボニル化合物の2級アルコールを還元剤とする選択還元反応に優れた担体であるMCM-41にテンプレートイオン交換法により効率的にSnを導入する調整法を確立した。永井:ジベンゾチオフェンの水素化脱硫反応に対するアルミナ担持モリブデン窒化触媒の反応初期における急激な活性低下は窒化物上への炭素堆積が、中期以降の緩慢な活性低下は窒素の脱離が主原因であることを見出した。久保:触媒反応ダイナミクスの解明が可能な高速化量子分子動力学法と拡散ダイナミクスの解明が可能な非平衡分子動力学法を統合化することで、移動現象を伴う触媒反応場を解明可能な高速化量子分子動力学法の開発に成功した。
