Research Abstract |
Study of preventive and early treatment for periodontitis and pulaitis on person of advanced years weve exaimed and the results weve as follows : 1.Auti-microbial periodontal treatwent decrease c-reactive protein level in patieuts who aer at high risk for coronany huart disese. 2.The usefulness of supportive periodoutal therapy (SPT) weve evaluated on maitenance of peridontal patieuts.SPT on maintenance of preiodontal patients was useful for the conservation of residual teeth. 3.There is a relationship between of the tubules at specifie areas of tooth and age grope, but the correlation was not precise. 4.Histopathological study on the periapical tissue reaction of tooth canal enlarged using Er : YAGleaser ware examined tested tips could abrade and vaporize pulp tissue, predentin and dentin. 5.Microscopie observation of dentiu-pulp complex weve examined in elderiy.The change of Dentin-pulp complex was depended on age. 6.A fluoride-releasing composite reins and bonding agents atowed a high calcification to dentin. 7.Composite resin including autiacterial zeolite showed no cytotoxicity. 8.Plaque accumulation on S-PRG (surface reaction type Pre-Reactecl Glass lonomer)resin was significautly inhibited and thin layer-like interfacs substance observed on these surface. These results plays an important role in dental treateut for a person of advanced years.
