Research Abstract |
Since the ship structure is very complicated, there are various loads and stresses are acting on the over all structural members. The integrated monitoring system is needed in order to assist the evaluation of the ship strength. The fundamental Study has been carried out and the followings are concluded. 1. Computer simulation model is developed for the virtual ocean going ship strength. 2. Artificial Neural Networks is applicable both to the monitoring of ship response and to the optimal design.
