Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to build up the web sites which aim at cooperation with "Period of Integrated Study" at school and volunteer's activities in local communities. The web pages are made by the student of our class, who investigate the volunteer's activities in local communities. Main results obtained from this study are as follows. (1) As the learning result, a lot of web pages were made by our students who introduce volunteer's activities in local communities. Their pages were improved by their mutual evaluation using "Web-Based Mutual Evaluation System". (2) A joint webpage-creating project for 5^<th> and 6^<th> grade children at an elementary school were undertaken with our students in Mie University. The availability of the joint project were analyzed from two points of view : elementary school student and university student. It was interesting that the university student felt the benefits in the class rather than the children. (3) It was proved that the information volunteers who support web-creating were very useful in local community.
