Research Abstract |
A national remote education (Conferencing) System linking classrooms sites and instructors with two-way mutual communications through a broadcasting satellite and communications network was made possible. 1.The development of a curriculum using satellite and communications network system technology. Research was conducted into the differences between lectures that use a broadcasting satellite system and those that use a communications network system. A new curriculum with accompanying materials was developed. 2.Utilization of a remote education system in collaboration with lectures The results from the remote education lectures carried out at six national educational centers were examined. It was found that when using broadcasting satellite systems and communications network systems there is a need for further literature and educational materials. Also VOD is needed to support of learning and training. 3.The development of educational materials, remote education and distribution systems To provide a holistic approach broadcasting and VOD materials, as well as texts were developed. The broadcasting of lectures with two-way mutual communications was made possible by linking various sites nationwide. 4.Future tasks in the use of broadcasting for remote education On using the remote education system it was found that the conducting of simultaneous two-way mutual lectures and linking multiple locations proved difficult and therefore an educational system that is both comprised of nationwide lectures and specific group lectures was developed.
