Research Abstract |
Continuous contact with the respondents and periodic evaluation of parameter being studied is mandatory for the sustaining a study cohort. In the Tanjungsari cohort where the respondent is a child now becoming teenagers, Birthdays axe routinely used as the tune point to contact and examined the respondent. This method has been used effectively for 12 years since the beginning of the cohort. In this report, the result of survey at 12 years old is reported in detail. House visit was conducted by trained village health worker (VHW) who have follow-up the children from early pregnancy through delivery there are 27 VHW everyone is responsible for cohort children living in their area. The results of this survey shows that die stunting is dominant in -Indonesian 12-year -old children and The results of the cohort survey might become a standard of school children in Indonesia.
