Research Abstract |
We rave investigated theoretically the origin of super fluidity in Bose-Einstein condensation (BEC) through Quantum vertices. Both scalar and spinor BEC are comparatively studied, focusing on vortex nucleation proceso, possible spin texture and to pological phase engineering via Berry phase. The critical angular frequency for nucleation is favorably compared to existing experiments in Cornell group in JILA. The predicted Mermin-Ho vortex is experimentally valijed by ketierle group in MIT by using 23Na atomic gases.
