Research Abstract |
1 : Over expression of a part of open reading frame 2 of HEV in the baculovirus expression system allowed this protein to assemble into virus-like paraticle (VLP) and we successfully generated VLP encapsulated plasmid vectors. 2 : We investigated VLP allowed the plasmid encoding reporter gene to enter the cultured cells using fluorescence detection of green fluorescent protein (GFP). The green fluorescence was detected in human hepatoma HepG2 cells and other cell lines. 3 : We investigated VLP allowed the plasmid to enter hepatocyte by the intravenous injection via mouse tail vein. The green fluorescence was detected in hapatocytes.
