Research Abstract |
Incremental MCV of the distance runners was longitudinally studied with changes in KBC, plasma HDL andcharacteristics of MCV, in vitro. However, theincrease of MCV is limited, because of blood viscosity. At least the optimal RBC and MCV to flow in the vessels and to supply oxygen for the tissue or cells are estimated. The incremental MCVs were classified into three groups, high, middle and. low increases. The high incremental group showed significantly decrease of RBC, but middle and low groups did not show significant changes in RBC. In particular, the low group showed increase of RBC. These differences in incremental MCV were depended on initial RBC before endurance training; the incremental MCV is limited in high RBC group before endurance training. Blood material to increase of MCV was plasma HDL and there was significant relationship between them and the correlation coefficient had logarithmic relation toperfonnnce,10000m run. Then, LCAT (lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase ) activity between MCV and plasma HDL is considered, because of typical increase of LCAT with endurance training. Another direct factors to influence on MCV were studied by in vitro experiment. As a results, minus factor to the living body, CO2, low oxygen, acidity, and low temperature caused increase of MCV and reverse factors caused decrease of MCV. From thjese results, we clarified factors to increase of MCV and individual differences in optimal state in the body.
