Research Abstract |
This study focuses on the socio-economic relationships between pastoralists and other groups in the cities. Interactions, such as bartering, commercial trade, stock consignment systems, and employment systems will be discussed. Emphasis will also be given to how these interaction affect peoples food security, health, and self image. General theories concerning Urban pastoralists will be considered.
