Research Abstract |
We have done paper survey, visitation survey and cooperative research with the pilot schools for Curriculum Evaluation of Integrated study. The main results are as follows. 【encircled 1】 We could find out many methods to evaluate students and curriculm. 1) Self-evaluation using portfolios at unit level or yearly plan level in order to be concious of self growing up. 2) Evaluation system that many teachers can check student and use the reports and workshop. 【encircled 2】 We could find out the proto model for school based curriculum evaluation and improvement system of Integrated Study from many cases of schools. 1) One school used the results of continuous student survey to improve curriculum and explain to parents. 2) One school preserves the many data of the units to use for curriculum making next year. 【encircled 3】 We could find out the realities about curriculum evaluation of the pilot schools on Integrated Study by paper survey. 1) Many elementary schools execute self-evaluation and mutual-evaluation by students. 2) Many elementary schools execute evaluation using by portfolios but don't use it as the diagnostic evaluation for curriculum making at the junior-high schools. 【encircled 4】 We constructed the model of curriculum evaluation system based of evaluation using portfolios that fourth grade classes of the elementary school in Tokushima. We analyzed the evaluation cards and the worksheets written by students, interviews to students and teacher, then we could make clear the effectiveness and improve the model. 【encircled 5】 We made final paper about the results of this research
