Research Abstract |
The purpose of the project was to investigate an effective support model for teachers in Education for children with physical/motor disabilities. The support model for the teachers consisted of two sub models. One was a sub model by Internet website and the other was a sub one by consultation we examined It was concluded that the model was valid for support of the teachers. 1) The support sub model by Internet website We collected information of teaching methods and materials, selected useful information for the support of the teachers and made text of the website based on the useful information. Next we put the text on the Internet website (URL:http://homepage3.nifty.com/shitai) and asked two teachers who had been a teacher for 10 years to examine the support sub one. They suggested that the sub one should be useful for the support of teachers by Internet website. We planed that the content of the website would be written more in details. 2) The support sub model by consultation We cooperate with 3 types' teachers. One was a teacher of special class in elementary school, the other was teachers of home bound education in special school, and the other was teachers for children with physical/motor and intellectual disabilities. We consulted 3 types' teachers by Internet e-mail or visiting schools about teaching methods and materials. As it turned out, we concluded that the support sub model by consultation was useful for support of the teachers.
