Research Abstract |
In order to keep sustainable growth and to increase industrial competitiveness, Japanese companies should assess management quality accurately and improve or innovate management system by utilizing assessment results. This research made structure of management quality and developed assessment method of management quality. Major research results are as follows. (1) Structure of management quality Systems approach was done to structure management quality and management system model was developed and was broken into three clusters i.e. driver, enabler and performance which were classified into elements. (2) Study on existing assessment methods of management quality A lot of Survey on existing assessment methods such as assessment criteria of MB Award, Japan Quality Award and other awards were done to analyze those features and problems. (3) Development of new assessment method of management quality Based on the above management system model, self-assessment items, criteria and scoring method were developed which improved existing assessment method and necessary assessment method of management for sustainable growth. (4) Validation of prototype of new assessment method and development of practical version. The prototype of above assessment method were studied at some companies and improved to practical version.
