Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2011年の東北地方太平洋沖地震時に発生した津波により,沿岸域にある橋梁あるいは海岸保全施設などの土木構造物は甚大な被害を受けた.これらの被害調査の結果,津波による想定外の外力の作用で構造物が破壊しただけでなく,基礎地盤の洗堀などの影響で構造全体の不安定化が生じた事例も多い.今後,津波などの自然災害に対する構造物の防災・減災機能の向上を計るためには,流体と地盤および構造物の3者の動的相互作用を正確に予測可能な数値解析技術の開発が期待される. 申請者は,2009年より上記の連成問題に対する新たな数値解析技術の開発に着手しており,いまだ困難とされている津波時の地盤洗掘問題に対して,世界に先駆け,その数値シミュレーションに成功している。

具体的には,津波による解析対象を取り巻く環境の大きな変化(地盤形状の変動,津波浮遊物の衝突,その他)を無理なく表現可能な数値解析技術を開発するため,メッシュを必要としない粒子型の数値解析手法であるSmoothed Particle Hydrodynamics(SPH法)に着目し,構造物と流体および地盤の相互作用を適切に評価するための改良法を提案した.また,解析対象が広範な領域となるため,高効率な並列化解析技術を導入しており,3次元解析までを可能とした。
