Outline of Annual Research Achievements

両親媒性の特徴を有し,分子量の比較的大きなブロックコポリマーを用いて,溶液中で安定な球状ミセルを形成させた.これらのミセルは,通常の低分子ミセルとは異なり,超希薄溶液中であっても,ミセル形状が安定に保持できることがわかった.このような特徴を活かし,無機種の化学反応をミセル上で進行させることで,様々な金属酸化物,金属の組成からなる中空粒子,またナノ多孔体の合成を行った.中空粒子は,内部に空間を有しており,そこに様々な物質,分子を導入することが可能であり,環境触媒,医療材料への展開が大いに期待できる.
