Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1. 半導体励起による“Turn-off”表面増強ラマン散乱分光法;水中の選択的クロム(VI)測定への応用
Jiは、新しい半導体励起による“Turn-off”SERS戦略を提案した。コロイドTiO2NPsはARS(alizarin red S)分子のSERS信号を引き出す効果的な基板としてだけでなく、Cr(VI)とARSとの反応を誘発する触媒中心としても用いられている。“Turn-off”SERS信号に基づいて、Cr (VI)を測定するための簡単な分析法を開発することができる。ARS-TiO2複合体は、Cr (VI)の定量に対し、高感度と高い選択力を発揮することが分かった。ここで提案している方法は、汚染物質濃度を正確に評価する場合の水溶液中のCr (VI)測定にも用いることができる。この研究は、化学メカニズムに基づいた半導体増強ラマン分光法の初めての実践的な応用例であると言える。この方法はCr (VI)に特化した方法であり、Cr (VI)の濃度の0.6から140マイクロメートルまでを測定するのに適している。Cr 以外の他の金属イオンは異なった半導体励起のシステムを用いることにより調べることが出来る。

2. 半導体増強ラマン散乱法による水溶液中のフッ化物測定法のための再生可能SERS センサー
フッ化物は歯と骨の成長に関連した、欠かすことのできない微量栄養素の1つだが、濃度が生物学的必要量を上回ると有毒となる。したがって環境中にあるフッ化物濃度を正確に測定できる、簡単で、安価で、高感度、高選択性のフッ化物センサーを開発することは、非常に重要である。うまく設計すると、コロイドTiO2NPsの表面上のTi-OHグループは、Ti-Fと置き換えることができる。その結果、プローブ分子の吸着のための活性部位の数を減らすことができる。よってSERSの強度はフッ化物の濃度が増えると減少し、フッ化物測定のための、指標として使うことができると言える。さらにコロイドTiO2NPsはリサイクルできる可能性もあり、それに関する研究も進めた。
