Outline of Annual Research Achievements

森林群集の多様性維持機構と地理的差異の創出機構を理解するために植物と土壌寄生者との相互作用系(Janzen-Connell仮説)着目し、空間明示的シミュレーションモデルの構築を進めてきた。被食ー捕食系の数理モデリングを森林の群集動態に応用し構築した森林群集のシミュレーションモデルの解析に関しては研究集会や国際学会などでの発表を議論を重ね順調に検討が進んだ。また、複数の森林プロットデータ解析をおおむね順調に進めることができた。空間明示的シミュレーションモデルをもちいて、森林プロットデータを再現するパラメータレンジの検討を進め、現在、国内外のカウンターパートと論文出版に向けたやり取りを行っている。近く研究成果が公表されることが期待できる。
その他、空間明示的シミュレーションを応用したタケ類の開花周期に関する数理モデルについてペア近似を用いて解析可能な次元で取り扱い、進化的に安定な開花周期を議論した論文が査読付き論文として出版された。
