Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は研究サブテーマとして以下の3つを設けている。１.OECOS固定試料解析（サブテーマ1：S1）２.飼育実験解析（サブテーマ２：S2）３.主要動物プランクトン個体群動態モデルを開発（サブテーマ３：S3）本年度は上記サブテーマの内S1およびS3を主に取り組み、各テーマともにほぼ予定通り進行できたと考えている。以下にS1とS3の実施状況を詳細に記す。
・大型動物プランクトン固定試料解析（S1）2007年3ー5月にBONGOネットで採集された高頻度連続採集試料から、大型動物プランクトンを解析した。優占する端脚類について学術論文を執筆し、国際誌に投稿、受理された。優占するヤムシ類においても結果をまとめ国内学会で口頭発表を行った。オキアミ類胃内容物解析においては、東京農業大学網走キャンパスの中川良純先生にご指導を受けながら、解析を行い、結果をまとめたものを国際学会（口頭）、国内学会（ポスター）で発表を行った。
・主要動物プランクトン個体群動態モデルを開発（S3）個体群動態モデルに必要なカイアシ類のデータとして成長速度が挙げられる。そこで本研究で使用している西部北太平洋親潮域OECOSの高頻度時系列カイアシ類データだけでなく、ドイツAlfred Wegener Institut(AWI)のBarbara Niehoff博士から提供いただいたノルウェー海のカイアシ類データ、東京大学大気海洋研究所の津田敦教授から提供いただいた３つの北太平洋鉄散布実験の高頻度時系列データを合わせて、カイアシ類の成長速度を算出し、海域間比較を行った。さらに、まとめた内容を国際学会にて口頭発表を行った。
