Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,拮抗する筋群(例:肘屈曲筋群と伸展筋群)の随意同時収縮によるレジスタンストレーニングの効果を明らかにすることを目的としている.これまでに,一般成人の肘屈曲筋群と伸展筋群を対象とした最大努力による4週間の随意同時収縮トレーニングは,静的のみならず動的筋力を向上させること,また,トレーニングの継続(12 週間)により,筋量を増加しうることを報告した.加えて,腹部筋群における随意同時収縮(ブレイシング)は,脊柱の安定性に貢献する腹部深層筋(内腹斜筋)を選択的に活動させることを明らかにした.
今年度は,腹部筋群のブレイシングトレーニングが体幹部および下肢の筋力・パワー発揮能力,ならびに外乱刺激に対する体幹部の制動性に及ぼす影響を検証した.健常な若齢男性20名をトレーニング群(n = 11)とコントロール群(n = 9)に分けた.トレーニング群は,最大努力によるブレイシング2秒間・脱力2秒間の10回反復を1セットとし,これを1セッションに5セット(セット間休息2分間),週に3セッション,8週間実施した.コントロール群は,8週間の間,激しい運動は避けた.介入期間の前後に,腹部筋群の筋厚,体幹部および股関節の伸展・屈曲筋力,スクワット挙上パワー,ならびに外乱刺激に対する体幹部の制動性を測定した.トレーニング群では,腹部(外腹斜筋,内腹斜筋)筋厚,体幹部および股関節の伸展筋力,ならびにスクワット挙上パワーが有意に増加したが,外乱刺激に対する体幹部の制動性には変化がなかった.コントロール群ではいずれの項目においても有意な変化はなかった.本研究の結果から,腹部ブレイシングは,体幹部および股関節の伸展動作を含む筋力およびパワー発揮能力を改善させるトレーニング手段と成りうることが示唆された.
