Outline of Annual Research Achievements

地表水における溶質輸送現象には,乱流などの流体力学的擾乱に起因する不確実性が必然的に付随する.そのため,溶質輸送現象の解析を一貫的に行うには確率過程の概念に基づいて現象の統計学的な側面を評価する研究手法の適用が必要不可欠である.本研究では地表水における溶質輸送現象が本質的に不確実性を包含するという観点から,連続時間確率過程の一種である確率微分方程式の理論に基づき,現象に対する新規の数理・数値解析手法の開発を行った.具体的には,まず地表水での溶質粒子の挙動を支配する確率微分方程式を提案し,その数理的な諸性質を解明した.つぎに,確率微分方程式に対して独自の数物的な考察を加えることで,溶質濃度の支配方程式ならびに粒子の挙動の時空間的な不確実性の指標である空間分布型統計量の支配方程式を導出した.各方程式に対しては,有限要素法や有限体積法に基づいた効率的かつ精緻な数値解析手法の開発を行った.また,提案する解析手法を農業用排水システムにおける水質動態解析へ適用し,その有効性の検証を行った.
以上に加え,上記のモデル化手法に基づき,1次元浅水流理論に立脚しつつも流れの水平2次元的な構造を効率的に数理モデル化に取り入れた決壊洪水に対する新規リスク解析手法の開発を行った.とくに,既往の1次元モデルが適用範囲外となる水路の分合流や屈曲,一般水路断面を含む常射流混在流れを精緻に再現し実問題への応用に耐える解析手法の開発を行い,その多様な場面への柔軟な対応性を詳細に確認した.また,東北地方太平洋沖地震により破堤した福島県須賀川市にある藤沼ダムの決壊洪水への適用では,複数の決壊シナリオを考慮したリスク解析を実施した.
