完全WKB解析によるパンルヴェ方程式の2点変わり点問題の研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

完全WKB解析の観点からパンルヴェ方程式の2点変わり点問題とその応用について研究を行った. すでに私が解析した第2型, および第3型のパンルヴェ方程式に対する2点変わり点問題に対する結果を全てのパンルヴェ方程式に対して拡張する枠組みとして, (形式解のレベルでは) ストークスセグメント上でのパンルヴェ方程式を上記の第2型や第3型の方程式に局所的に変換できることを示した. この結果は学術雑誌 Publications of RIMS にアクセプトされ, 近日中に掲載される予定である. この結果から, 全てのパンルヴェ方程式のストークスセグメントに関わるストークス現象を記述する接続公式は第2型や第3型に対して私が得た公式から従うと期待できる.
一方で, 共同研究者とともに, 完全WKB解析と, (解析学とは一見無縁な) 団代数との関係性の研究も行った. 上述のようなストークスセグメントに関わるストークス現象を記述する公式が, 実は団代数を定義する際に重要な変異そのものであることを見出し, 団代数における様々な概念を微分方程式論的に実現することができた. この結果は J. Phys. A: Math and Theo に掲載されており, また研究集会等での講演も多数行った. このように一見異なる分野間の関係性を見出すことは, 全く異なる視点からの研究を可能にすると期待できる. 例えば, 応用として完全WKB解析における Stokes自己同型のなす恒等式が, 団代数の持つ周期性という顕著な性質から従うことも明らかになった. 今後は逆に, 完全WKB解析の手法を用いて団代数の構造解析を行うことが重要な課題であろう.
