Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度の研究では、まず超対称標準模型の拡張として有力視されている次最小超対称標準模型と呼ばれる模型の宇宙論的側面に関する研究を行った。この模型ではドメインウォールと呼ばれる壁状の場の配位が宇宙初期に生成され、それが十分長寿命であると宇宙論的に問題となることが知られているが、本研究ではこの模型において導入されるシングレット場のインフレーション中および終了後の発展を注意深く調べることにより、ドメインウォール生成自体が避けられる可能性があることを指摘した。このようなシナリオが可能となるためにはシングレット場の結合定数について低めの値が要請されることを明らかにし、宇宙のバリオン数生成や暗黒物質生成のシナリオがある程度制限され得ることを示した。
上記の研究課題に加えて、超対称性理論に基づくインフレーション模型に関する研究を行い、特にD項と呼ばれるポテンシャルエネルギーを用いて加速膨張を起こすシナリオを詳細に調べた。近年、理論を定義するケーラーポテンシャルが非自明な構造を持つ場合、観測結果とよく一致するような予言をもたらすD項ポテンシャルが得られる可能性が指摘されているが、本研究では先行研究で提案されていた模型をより詳細に解析すると共に、これを一般化し、ほぼ平坦なD項ポテンシャルによってインフレーションが起きたことを要請すると、ケーラーポテンシャルの構造が特定の形に絞り込まれることを示した。
また、昨年度に引き続きアクシオン暗黒物質に関する研究も並行して行った。特に、インフレーション終了後にストリングやドメインウォールといった位相欠陥が生成されるようなシナリオに着目し、様々な理論的要請を満たしつつ暗黒物質を説明するようなパラメター領域を求め、幾つかの代表的なアクシオン模型に対して暗黒物質存在量から予言されるパラメター領域と将来の実験感度との比較を行い、その検証可能性を議論した。
