Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究の目的は，情動知能の個人差が，社会的排斥場面での自己の報復行動や他者の報復行動への関与に対して、どのような行動の違いをもたらすのかを明らかにすることである。本年度は、大きく分けて，昨年度の研究について学会発表・論文執筆の形で成果発表すること，新規研究を進めることを行った。
まず、昨年度の研究について，学会発表・論文執筆の形で成果報告を行った。具体的には，ベルギーのMikolajczak研究室で開発された情動知能の尺度であるProfile of Emotional Competenceについて，成果をまとめた論文が『Assessment』誌に掲載された。さらに，この尺度の短縮版を作成した研究成果をまとめた論文が『心理学研究』誌に掲載された。他の研究として，仲間外れにされている人が悲しみを表出していない時に，情動知能の個人差はその人を仲間に入れてあげる行動として現れてくることを明らかにした研究成果をまとめた論文が，『Emotion』誌に掲載された。
次に 新規の研究の研究として，社会的排斥経験後の他者の報復行動を抑制するためには，社会的排斥が起きた時点で，被排斥者のネガティブな情動を和らげることが重要になる。そこで，社会的排斥のパラダイムを用いて，情動知能の個人差が被排斥者のネガティブな情動を和らげる行動として現れてくるのが，仲間はずれにされている他者の性格が自分と似ているときか，似ていない時かを明らかにする実験を行った。以上の研究成果を通じて，情動知能の高さがどのように具体的な社会的行動の違いに反映されるのかを明らかにし，このことをを発信することができた。
