Research Abstract

本研究の目的の一つである鉄ニクタイド系超伝導体の超伝導機構の解明に向けて以下の二点を明らかにした。
①LaFeAsO_<1-x>D_xの中性子非弾性散乱測定を行い、x=0.1, 0.4の時にスピン揺らぎの増大を確認した。
従来まで電子をFe一つ当たり0.3個ほどドーピングすると反強磁性揺らぎは消失すると考えられてきたが、本実験によりLaFeAsO_<1-x>D_xの二つ目の超伝導相(0.2<x<0.45)下においてもスピン揺らぎが増大することが分かった。二つ目の超伝導相の方が、従来まで知られていた一つ目の超伝導相(0.05<x<0.2)よりも超伝導転移温度が高いため、今回発見した高ドープ域のスピン揺らぎの起源や超伝導との関係性を調べることにより、より高T_cをもつ超伝導体の設計が期待できる
②LaFeAsO_<1-x>Hxの中性子回折、ミューオンスピン緩和、放射光X線回折測定を行い、x>0.4に斜方晶への構造相転移とそれに付随する反強磁性転移を発見した。従来まで鉄系は単一の反強磁性のみを持っと考えられてきたが、本研究により、二つの反強磁性相に挟まれた二つの超伝導相を示す相図が明らかになった。La系に外圧を3GPa以上印加するとこの二つの超伝導相は合体しT_cは50K近くにまで上昇する。これらの知見から、本研究によって見出された二つの反強磁性相から派生する二種のスピン揺らぎが協調し合うことで鉄系の最高T_cが実現している可能性がある。これは、複数軌道がFemi準位にかかる鉄系ならではの特長と考えられ、高温超伝導体の新規設計指針になる可能性がある。
