Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では、森林生態系における未知の炭素動態（いつ吸収された炭素が、どれくらい・どこに蓄えられて放出に至るのか？）を炭素安定同位体比から解き明かすことを目的とする。
本年度は、野外の成木で炭素安定同位体パルスラベリング法を実施した。ラベリング開始時から根・菌根菌・土壌に到着するまでのタイムラグおよび配分割合を算出した。ラベリング後、対象木近くで定期的に土壌を採取し、根・菌根菌・SOMに区分した。各コンパートメントの同位体分析および化学分析、および土壌化学分析を行い、さらに土壌コアを採取し、土壌に蓄積されているラベリング炭素量を測定した。
