Co-Cr-Mo合金の窒素添加により導入されるナノヘテロ構造を利用した組織制御

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

まず、昨年度透過電子顕微鏡を用いて見出したナノ窒化物について、X線小角散乱実験によるサイズおよび数密度を定量評価のための基礎検討を行った。本合金系において初めての小角散乱実験であったが、ラボX線回折装置では蛍光X線の影響が強く、正確な測定値を求めることが困難であることがわかった。この点については中性子小角散乱に手法を変えることで解決可能と考えられ、平成27年度にJ-PARCのiMATERIAビームラインにおいて測定を行う予定である。
さらに、昨年度調査を行った引張特性のN添加量依存性については、今年度は高Cr組成とし、N含有量を高く設定したCo-Cr基合金を作製し、同様の検討を行った。なお、本合金は熱間加工が困難であるため歯科鋳造合金としての実用化が検討されており、本研究でも鋳造材での評価を行った。Cr添加量の増加に伴い、合金化可能なN添加量の増加も増加し、その結果、鋳造材でありながら50%近い引張伸びを示すことがわかった。また、この合金にさらにCを添加することで、NおよびCの複合添加効果により十分な延性を維持したまま鍛造材と同等の鋳造材としては極めて高い強度が得られることを見出した。
上記の研究成果について、アメリカで行われた国際会議(Materials Science and Technology 2014およびTMS 2015、いずれもアメリカ鉱物金属材料学会が主催)において口頭発表および関連するポスター発表を行った。また、日本金属学会講演大会および日本歯科理工学会で口頭発表を行うとともに、国際誌に論文を投稿した。
