Research Abstract

昨年度の研究で,我々は,環周辺の立体障害のために骨格が歪んでいるオクタエチルテトラフェニルポルフィリン(OETPPLi_2)とSOCl_2の反応の生成物により,酸化されたOETPPが得られることを見いだした。この化合物は,電通大岩崎・橋爪先生による詳細なエックス線構造解析の結果、16π電子骨格を有することが確かめられ,この種の化合物の初めての単離例となった。
本年度は、オクタエチルテトラフェニルポルフィリンよりも、外周のアルキル置換基をさらに大きくした新規化合物、オクタイソブチルテトラフェニルポルフィリン、を合成し,同様の方法で,酸化にも成功し,16π電子骨格を有する化合物のX線解析にも成功した。この化合物は、オクタエチルテトラフェニルポルフィリンの酸化体で見られたCH2Cl2とピロール骨格の間のCH-pai相互作用は見られず,外周のアルキル置換基を大きくしたことにより,酸化体の骨格の安定性が増加したと解釈できた。現在,さらに外周のアルキル置換基を大きくして,空気中室温でも長時間安定な酸化体骨格の構築を目指している。
