Research Abstract

(1)振動外場で変調された半導体ドレストバンド理論
非共鳴(赤外)の強いレーザー場中におかれたGaAsなどの半導体のバンドギャップ近傍の光学的性質が大きく変調を受けるという現象が報告されている。これはキャリアの実励起を伴わないコヒーレント現象である。われわれは、この現象を光(振動電場)と強く混合した半導体エンルギーバンドの形成によるものと考え、ドレストバンド(dressed band)の概念に到達、そのバンド理論を構築した。電子状態に対する強結合近似(LCAO)の範囲でFloquet理論とBloch理論の融合により、ドレストバンド計算とその光学応答計算の定式化に成功した。理論計算によるバンドギャップ近傍での透過率変化は、定量的にもよく実験結果を再現した(論文投稿中)。
(2)Circuit QEDにおけるqubit操作
われわれは、量子コンピュータなどの将来の量子情報処理装置の基本単位qubitを駆動する方法として、急峻なパルスを必要としないLandau-Zener型非断熱過程と、位相制御を用いる方法を提案している。一方、超伝導ジョセフソンqubitの操作方法としてLC回路との結合を用いる提案がありcavity QED中の2準位系をマクロなオーダーで実現する方法(ciecuit QED)として注目を集めている。われわれはcircuit QED中のqubitの非断熱操作の理論的研究を行った。とくに少数のフォトン場と対角および非対角結合をした2準位系のLandau-Zener遷移について、遷移確率の解析的公式を発見し数値計算との比較を行った。
(3)内殻のオージェ崩壊が誘起する原子脱離ダイナミックス
結晶表面の構成原子や吸着原子がX線照射により脱離する現象を、内殻正孔のオージェ崩壊により出現した2正孔状態に起因するものと考え、2正孔・1原子の3体の運動が絡み合った量子ダイナミックスの解析を行った。積分方程式による定式化を行い、脱離収量の評価を行った結果、2正孔間のクーロン斥力による2正孔束縛状態の果たす役割の重要性を指摘した。
