Research Abstract

我々は18年度に10cm角電子飛跡検出型コンプトンカメラを搭載した気球実験を行い、宇宙拡散ガンマ線および大気2次ガンマ線のサブMeV領域での検出実験を行い、良質のデータを取ることに成功した。18年度に荒いデータ解析は終了したが、実験精度、特に宇宙線による大気からのガンマ線雑音、大気による吸収などを正確にシミュレーションするため、シミュレーションの改良を中心に行った。特に精度向上のため気球搭載装置を実験室で再度動作させ、装置のレスポンスをシミュレーションで精度良く再現できる要調整作業を行った。また大気構造なども精度よくシミュレーションに取り入れることで、今回世界で初めて数十keVから十MeV付近までの広いエネルギー範囲での大気ガンマ線シミュレーションに成功、今までの計算、シミュレーションなどともスペクトル、および天頂角分布に対して良い一致が得られた。このように信頼性のあるシミュレーションを完成させた。またこのシミュレーションによりデータ解析も改良され検出ガンマ線を約2倍に増やすことが出来た。またこのシミュレーションにより検出器細部の動作を再現することが可能となり、今後の改善点が明確になるようになった。今、これらの成果をまとめている。また地上での30x30x30cmのTPCおよびGSOピクセルカメラを組み合わせた大型カメラの製作も終了し、300keV-900keVの範囲でガンマ線再構成に成功した。
