Research Abstract |
We have investigated lacquer works in Momoyama-Edo period, which belong to Kodaiji-Makie style. Works of this style are mass production and descend a large quantity even now. But we classified them through this investigation in which we analyzed their design and technique. The notes and photographs were sorted, processed with computer and made into database. As a result, we could reveal the actual transition of this style.
