Research Abstract |
This research had the main aims in clarifying the differences of information morality and daily morality in the fields especially related to the education. It can be said that this purpose was almost achieved by this research The reason why the head investigator considered this problem in the fields of information morality education is as follows ; that as the information education and the information ethics education were included in the targets of educational changes, the problems concerning computer ethics have been discussed in recent years, and so the distinctiveness of the information morality (the differences from daily morality) can not help being examined. Various problems closely related to our research have accumulated at schools Our two-year investigation brought forth a lot of results. Some features of distinctiveness of information morality (cf. our research on the Internet addiction etc.) were clarified in cooperation with another research laboratory. Furthermore, we had a chance to lecture in Singapore (MOE) on the situation of the education of information in Japan and could inspect what was taught as to information ethics at various schools there Moreover, it was a further result in our research to be able to confirm how daily morality and information morality are approaching gradually to each other. Such s tendency will be actualized more and more from now on. In the future we will investigate this new phenomenon
