Research Abstract |
This study was conducted in the aim to develop a computer aided style design system for concept design and basic design of a product from implicit and explicit information of cognizance based on Kansei of designers and customers for product forms. The following results were obtained. 1. Development of a system to indicate basic style forms based on customer's Kansei (1-1) Sub-system to construct basic style forms based on implicit actions of customers Selling results of products was recognized as implicit Kansei actions of customers for the style forms of products. A sub-system to indicate product forms was developed by statistically analyzing the changes of the selling results. (1-2) Sub-system to construct basic style forms based on explicit actions of customers Abstract Kansei Language for product forms was extracted according to analyzing a questionnaire on product forms. A sub-system to indicate a product form based on the product concept was developed by recognizing the analyzed result

Development of a system to reconstruct the style form of a product based on Kansei actions of a designer (2-1) Sub-system to reconstruct the product form based on implicit Kansei actions of a designer Designer's Kansei (implicit action) for a product form was identified with brain waves. A sub-system to indicate a product form representing the designer's intention was developed according to the analysis of the brain waves. (2-2) Sub-system to reconstruct the product form based on explicit Kansei actions of a designer A sub-system to reconstruct the product form by Kansei actions of a designer for a product farm was developed. (2-3) Sub-system to remodel a product form in higher aesthetics and higher quality according to engineering evaluations The sub-system indicates the engineering characteristic lines (highlight lines, silhouette lines, and characteristic lines) to evaluate the product form. A sub-system to remodel the product form having the required characteristic lines by inputting the lines was developed in the case that the required lines are not obtained. Less
