Research Abstract

As one of useful applications in a space utilizing a high intelligent fluid, the study of development of an energy conversion device utilizing the fluid was conducted. At first, the theoretical predictions of the developments of the fluid and the device, and of the characteristics at the application of the device in a space were conducted. It is on the basis of the background that the energy efficiency of the device can be hardly expected because the saturation magnetization of the fluid is small on the proposed energy conversion device utilizing a magnetic fluid. Although our obtained results are not enough at this proposed energy conversion device utilizing a magnetic fluid. Although our obtained results are not enough at this present stage and more results should be obtained yet, more important results could be obtained at the case of designing the device from the various investigations at the case of the utilization of the energy conversion device with the high intelligent fluid in a space. They are clarified in the present report.
