Research Abstract |
Nonlinear coupled dynamic behavior of a space structure model with liquid contained tank has been investigated. Subdividing it into two subjects the problem has been treated. I. Nonlinear dynamic behavior of space structure model with liquid contained tank Test model was composed of central capsule with 60 mm in diameter and 500 mm length flexible beams as solar panels. The test model was levitated by magnetic forces and was excited by electromagnetic force. The influence of liquid moving, i.e. sloshing was clarified by measuring the frequency response curves of a beam and main tank. II. Nonlinear dynamic behavior of a water drop on a vibrating plane Nonlinear dynamic behavior of a water drop on a vibrating plane has been experimentally investigated. Three kinds of base on which test drop set has been used to obtain a test drop will different contact angle. The influences of liquid contact angle, liquid volume on the nonlinearity of a drop response has been clarified.
