Research Abstract |
By modeling a momentary change of natural environments by human disaster or natural disaster as a sudden change of mutual relation of signal and communication system, we perform a study to establish a theory of trans-multiplex communication systems that can be applied to a sudden change of frequency characteristics of signal and communication systems based on these models. (1) When analysis filter bank was given in FIR filter banks for signals that Fourier spectrums or norms of wavelet coefficients are bounded, we establish a theory to derive the optimum interpolation functions that minimize various worst-case measures of error all at once about signals in a given set of signals. The signals in this theory belong to a linear combination of a finite number of sine waves or wavelet functions, band-limited signals and vector-signals in Hilbert space. (2) As an application, we make a design theory of multiplex communication system that can revive communication by minimizing error between input and output of each communication channel by adjusting transmission filters when frequency characteristics for filters of reception side change suddenly. (3) Installing a Windows XP, its backup clone, Windows 2000, Windows Vista, and Linux in one XP pre-install type PC, we make a notebook type PC that can start any OS by appropriate simple operation including reboot. (4) We develop a program by C++ language that provides tap coefficients and transmission characteristics of the optimum FIR filter banks and multiplex communication devices stated above and confirm distinction of the approximation. (5) We publish results to English Transaction of Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers and announce results in international conferences.
