Research Abstract |
Forest education programs are investigated on its contents or enforcement environment about domestic and foreign various organizations. Some of them we visited and investigated.We visited three places of American representative forest education institutions in 2003 and inspect of some programs, listening comprehension investigation to the staff there. In Kagoshima University research forest, we executed some programs for children.One is the forest recreation programs, another is outdoor classes in cooperated with an elementary school.We developed a new program referring to findings and practiced it.We also examined it by questionnaire investigation about the result. We made a program for the leader training of forest education in Kagoshima University forestry course.The students of the Seminar in Forest Education attend plans a camp for a primary schoolchild in themselves and administer it.They also experience a leader in the outdoor class of an elementary school.In addition, we executed a workshop designed for teachers, cooperated with Tarumizu City Board of Education and environmental education NPO.We examined it by questionnaire investigation to a participant about these result.
