Research Abstract |
1. After long time ischemia/reperfusion of the liver, zonal necrosis area appeared at the central vein area. After that, necrosis areas spread 2. Bone marrow cells from mice transgenic for green fluorescence protein (GFP) were transplanted to the B6 mice irradiated X-ray at a dose of 12Gy to make chimeric mice. After hepatic I/R, GFP positive cell were detected at the hepatic parenchyma and vascular endothelial cells. We suggested that hepatic endothelial cells might be replaced with these GFP positive cells at the damaged liver.
