Research Abstract

本年度は,メソポーラス酸化スズ(m-SnO_2)の熱安定性の付与とセンサ材料としての最適化を中心に検討した。
1.m-SnO_2の半導体ガスセンサへの応用と最適化
鋳型としてセチルピリジニウムクロリド(C_<16>PyCl)の水中における自己集合体を,Sn源としてスズ酸ナトリウム(Na_2SnO_3)を用いることにより得られる六方晶系SnO_2-C_<16>PyCl複合体ををリン酸処理することにより,600℃で焼成後,細孔径が約2nmの規則性メソ細孔を有するm-SnO_2を調製可能であった。ただし,この材料のみを用いて作製したガスセンサは,一般的なSnO_2(c-SnO_2)に比べてH_2感度が著しく高いものの,抵抗が非常に高く実用化しづらいことから,c-SnO_2の表面にm-SnO_2を表面修飾することにより,センサの特性向上を図った。その結果,c-SnO_2表面への直接m-SnO_2修飾によってもセンサ特性が向上するが,一度,貴金属微粒子をc-SnO_2表面に担持したのちm-SnO_2を修飾することにより,劇的な感度向上が見られた。なお,m-SnO_2修飾c-SnO_2の表面に貴金属を担持してもそれほどの効果が見られないことから,メソポーラス層中でのガス拡散が大きくセンサ特性に寄与しているものと考えられる。
2.トリブロックコポリマーを用いたm-SnO_2調製
C_<16>PyClより分子量が大きいトリブロックコポリマー(分子量:5800)を用いてメソ細孔の孔径拡大と制御を試みた。その結果,調製時に2-メトキシエタノールを用いた場合,もっとも比表面積が大きく(254m^2g^<-1>),3-4nm付近にシャープな細孔分布を有するm-SnO_2を得ることができることがわかった。
