Research Abstract

光硬化性カプロラクトン-ラクチド共重合体のマクロモノマーの分子量,分子構造を変化させた時のポリマーの力学的な性質の変化を明らかにすることを本研究の目的とした.
マクロモノマーの分子量を2000,5000,10000(カプロラクトン-ラクチド比を50:50)に調整し,光硬化させた樹脂の引っ張り試験によるヤング率を計測したところ,分子量の増加に伴いヤング率,破断強度の減少が認められた.さらに,分子量5000でカプロラクトン-ラクチド比が5:95,25:75,50:50となるようにマクロモノマーを合成し,成形したところ,カプロラクトン-ラクチド比の違いが破断強度の有意な変化を起こしたのに対し,ヤング率に及ぼす影響は極めて少ないことがわかった.
従って,光硬化性カプロラクトン-ラクチド共重合体はその力学的な性質を任意のものに変えることができることから,再生血管用の生体内分解性プラスチックに求められる血管と同様の力学的な特性を有する材料という観点で,本研究で開発した材料は再生血管用の材料として有用なものになりうることがわかった.本材料の細胞適合性も併せて検討したところ,細胞接着・増殖において著しく培養用シャーレに劣ることはないことが確かめられた.また,マクロモノマーの分子量を制御することによって,生体内での分解速度を調整できることもわかった.
