Research Abstract

次の形の同時ペル方程式で積abや積cdが十分大きいものについて正の整数解の個数が3個以下になることを既にほぼ示していたがその範囲を,現在のBaker Theoryの限界まで使うことにより,広くすることができた:
|ax^2-bz^2|=4;|cy^2-dz^2|=4.(a,b,c,d:パラメータ,x,y,z:未知数)
そこで使われた技術により,次の形の指数型Diophantine Equationの解の個数がgcd(ax,by)=1との制約の下で3個以下になることを示した.
ax^m-by^n=1(1【less than or equal】a,b:パラメーター,2【less than or equal】x,y:パラメーター,0【less than or equal】m,n:未知数)
