Research Abstract

これまで小生は日常の病理診断において鑑別の困難な腎腫瘍の鑑別診断に使用できるマーカー(vinculin, paxillin)の発見に関与してきた。平成16年度の今回の研究で、low-grade tubular-mucinous renal neoplasm(LGTMRN)の神経内分泌への分化を免疫組織化学および電子顕微鏡の側面より証明し、新しい疾患概念の特徴をより鮮明に描き出し、この腫瘍におけるCD57の発現を証明した(Kuroda N, et al. Pathol Int., 2004)。さらに、多発性嚢胞腎より発生した集合管癌について報告した(Kuroda et al. Int J Surg Pathol., in press)。色素嫌性腎細胞癌と腎好酸性腺腫瘍をcytokeratin typingにより鑑別する手法を開発した(Kuroda N, et al. Histol.Histopathol., 2004)。Low-grade tubular mucinous renal neoplasmは、新たにWHO分類の中で、mucinous tubular and spindle cell carcinomaとして紹介されることとなり、この腫瘍の臨床的、病理学的および分子生物学的側面をreview articleとしてまとめた(Kuroda N, et al. Histol.Histopathol., 2004)。また、腎腫瘍の被膜形成における筋線維芽細胞の参加とその意義について検討し、第25回国際病理アカデミー(オーストラリア・ブリスベーン)で発表した。
