Research Abstract

平成15年度コレステロール分子の鋳型を持つアルカンチオル自己組織化膜の作製と認識能の評価
金電極をコレステロールと直鎖アルキルチオール(CnH2n+1SH)を含むエタノール溶液に30分間浸演した後、コレステロールのみを洗い流して分子鋳型を有する自己集合単分子膜を作製した.この電極を分子鋳型センサとしてコレステロールの計測に用いた.測定はエタノール(1mL)を皮膚に一分間接触させて得た抽出溶液に自己集合膜を浸漬した後,酸化還元化学種を含む電解溶液中での酸化ピークの減少値を読み取る.この電流変化は電気化学的不活性なコレステロールが鋳型に取り込まれると金電極表面に拡散する酸化還元化学種濃度の減少に伴うものである.従って,電流の減少値を読み取ることでコレステロール濃度が判る.従来の酵素法に代わる独創的で全く新しい計測法である.この開発により得られた知見をコレステロールセンサなどの市販可能な形式にすることで将来的に病院に出向くことなく,外出が困難な高齢者や遠隔地居住者の計測が容易になることが予想されるなど社会的に意義のある研究結果を得ることができた.
これらの成果を電気化学会,日本分析化学会およびPittcon 2002、Nano-BioTec2002において口頭,ポスター発表した.さらに,米国電気化学会,英国化学会発行の国際ジャーナルに掲載された.
