Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Analysis of the radiation environment on board the International Space Station using data from the SilEye-3/Alteino particle detector has been completed. Participated in two EUSO-TA measurement campaigns in Delta, Utah. During these we performed the successful data acquisition of stars, air planes, and laser shots from multiple distances. We have also managed to capture the first cosmic ray events for EUSO-TA. Work was performed on a trigger system for the ground based telescope in Utah and for the Space based Mini-EUSO telescope, scheduled to be launched to the International Space Station in 2017.
