Outline of Annual Research Achievements

マウスES細胞を用いて立体的かつ、一部の分泌機能を持つ胃組織の作製に成功した。さらに、作製した胃組織中にTGFαを過剰発現させることで、部分的ではあるが胃がん病態の再現にも成功した。これらの成果を国際幹細胞学会にて発表し、当該年度中にNature Cell Biology誌に掲載された。

加えて、本手法もヒトES細胞に応用することで、ヒト胃組織の作製にも成功した。現在、この成果をまとめ、国際的に権威のある学術雑誌に投稿し、論文審査中である。
