時空の対称性の研究とそのインフレーション理論への応用

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

1. 曲がった時空を扱う相対論に於いて時空の対称性という考え方がこれまで重要な役割を果たしてきたことから，時空の対称性の拡張であるKilling-Stackel対称性について，表現論に基づいたキリング方程式の可積分条件の定式化した．本研究の成果により，新しい可積分模型を発見する系統的な手法が確立した．また，Killing-Stackel対称性が測地線方程式に対する多項式型保存量と関係することから，有理型保存量と関係する時空の対称性について考察を行い，Killing-Stackel対称性を拡張することにより有理型保存量と関係するテンソル場について定式化を行った．これにより，これまで考えられてきた可積分模型と異なる種類のものがたくさん得られる可能性がある．
3. 厳密に解ける量子力学系の可積分構造として知られていた昇降演算子と絡合演算子の構造を組み合わせ，さらにそれらを拡張する新しい構造について定式化した．
4. 古くから対称性をもつ時空とその上を運動する物質のふるまいについて盛んに研究されてきたから，時空が共形不変性をもつ場合に有質量スカラー場のあいだにどのような関係が成り立つのかについて考察し，時空が「閉じた」共形不変性をもつEinstein時空（具体例として、定曲率の時空を含む）であれば，有質量スカラー場が無質量スカラー場から構成できることを発見した．現在，共形不変性の拡張を考えることにより任意質量の有質量スカラー場を無質量スカラー場から構成できる可能性について，研究を継続中である。
