Outline of Annual Research Achievements

AdS/CFT対応、より一般にはホログラフィー原理において、量子情報的観点から共形場理論(CFT)を見ることが、時空がCFTから創出する仕組みを捉えるために重要な考え方であると近年認識され始めている。一方で、量子情報理論で重要な、操作と言う観点からCFTやホログラフィー原理を考えることは今まで注目を浴びてこなかった。そこで今年度は、量子情報理論において基本的な操作である射影測定を行った後のCFTにおける状態と、そのAdS側の対応物を考察した。CFTでは、一部の領域を測定し、その領域のエンタングルメントを取り除くという操作を考えた。それに対応して、AdS側では時空の一部が切り取られて消えてしまうという興味深い結果を得た。特に、量子エンタングルメントの消失に伴う時空の消失は、CFT側の量子エンタングルメントが時空を形成しているという観点と非常に適合しており、大変興味深い結果である。
CFT側から局所的な時空を構成する上で重要なもう一つの性質が、カオスという性質である。超弦理論が古典アインシュタイン重力で記述できる領域を考えたいならば、CFT側は強結合である必要があり、特にカオス的であると考えられている。一方で、このクラスの理論とは別に、有理型のCFT(Rational CFT)と呼ばれる解けるクラスのCFTも存在し、高階スピン重力とも関係して興味深い理論である。今年度は、Rational CFTにおいて,カオスの指標として知られるOut-of-time-ordered(OTO)創刊関数の振る舞いを調べた。特に、古典アインシュタイン重力を記述するCFTとは違い、十分時間が経った後のOTO相関関数の値は0にならないことがわかった。また、Rational CFTを特徴付けるモジュラーS行列で書くことができることを発見した。
