Outline of Annual Research Achievements

炭素繊維強化プラスチック(CFRP)は高比剛性・高比強度、低熱膨張率であるため,軽量化・高安定性が求められる航空宇宙分野を中心に様々な分野への適応が広がっている。しかし、CFRPで複雑な形状を有する部材を成形すると、部材形状および材料の異方性に起因し残留変形が発生し、形状安定性や強度の低下に結び付く。これらの変形を予測・抑制することでより効率的で安全なCFRPの利用が可能である。
従来の研究では残留変形のメカニズムについて、成形後の形状計測から検証が行われているが、成形時の内部状況を計測する手法が確立されておらず、その結果、残留変形のメカニズムには不明確な部分も多い。本研究では光ファイバセンサを利用し、成形時のひずみを計測することで、複雑形状CFRPの残留変形メカニズムに対する新たな知見を得ることを目的とした。
第1、2年度では板厚斜め方向への光ファイバセンサの埋め込み手法を確立し、板厚の異なるL型部材における成形時内部ひずみ計測御行った。その結果、板厚が大きい部材ほど、硬化収縮時のフランジ部せん断変形が大きく、結果として成形後の角度変化が小さくなることを示した。また、U型部材や板厚変化を有するPly-drop-off構造などの、より複雑な部材に対し内部ひずみ計測および成形後形状計測を行い、部材形状によりひずみ状態およびそれに伴う残留変形が異なることが明らかになった。以上の実験に加え、Timoshenko梁理論に基づく解析および有限要素解析を行い、実験結果の妥当性検証およびメカニズムに対する知見を得た。
