Outline of Annual Research Achievements

今年は2つの研究に焦点を当てている。
まず、vector-like quarkを利用した大型ハドロンコライダー(LHC)での二光子過剰を説明するモデルを作った。 ATLASとCMSでは、約750GeVでの二光子現象の過剰が報告されている。多くの可能な解釈の中で、最も魅力的なシナリオはおそらく750GeVのquarkonium、すなわち約375GeVの質量を有するvector-like quarkのQCD結合状態である。これは、このシナリオでは、二光子過剰の説明に必要な成分が極めて単純であるためである。小さなdecay widthのvector-like quarkが存在するだけである。このモデルの別の余剰(on-Z excess)と暗黒物質現象を説明する可能性についても検討した。研究成果はPhysical Review Dに掲載されている。
第二に、私はダークマターrelic abundanceのQCD拘束状態の影響について研究した。新しい物理学の多くのシナリオでは、初期の宇宙はQCDで帯電したエキゾチックな粒子存在する可能性がある。 Standard Model粒子との強い相互作用のために、それらは最初は熱平衡状態にあり、後にfreeze outした。これらの粒子は結合状態を形成し、暗黒物質のcoannihilationシナリオでは、拘束状態は暗黒物質のrelic abundanceに大きな影響を与える可能性がある。我々は、特に、Supersymmetryモデルのright handed stop-BinoのcoannihilationシナリオのBino暗黒物質量は、束縛状態より2.5 TeVに達することができることを示した。この研究はJournal of High Energy Physicsに掲載されている。
